For Christians and others interested in the Scriptures of both Christianity and the Jewish Religion, the Bible is a foundational book. The problem is that it is such a diverse collection of types of literature that many have only dipped into it, preferring to read the gospel stories of Jesus, some of the history of the Jewish people and the devotional Psalms. The rest of the Bible remains a mystery.
One way to get over this problem is to set oneself the task of reading the entire Bible.
We trust that “Gods’ Promise” service will be a blessing to global Christian community and benefit them.
Adult Christians
One of the most important essentials in the daily life of a Christian is spending time reading God’s Word. The Bible says in Psalm 119:105, “Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light for my path.”. However, many Christians don’t know where to get started or how to go about this seemingly daunting undertaking. There are many reading plans available but you need to try the one that seems to fit your interests and before you know it, you’ll be hooked.
“God’s Promise” service can become a part of your daily Bible reading plan to help you memorise and meditate on HIS Word. We encourage to keep on receiving and reading HIS promises. Day by day obedience and discipline will bring its reward as God’s Word comes alive to you.
Teenager & young generation
As per recent survey, 4 out of 5 teens carry a mobile phone and view their cell phone as the key to their social life. In USA, about 25% of all cell phone revenues come from this age group. It is not surprising that your child might feel left out if he or she doesn’t have one in a pocket or a backpack.
But while teens love them, moms and dads can get burned by cell phones in the hands of teenagers. However, a proper use of cellular phones can be a learning tool in your child’s education and life. A study conducted by University of Nottingham showed that students used the cell phones to create short movies, set homework reminders, record their teachers' readings of poems, time management via cell phone stopwatches etc.
A gift of “God’s Promise” service to your teenagers will help to bring Word of God into their spiritual and social life.
New Christians
New Christians know that they should read God’s word. They understand that it is God’s message to them and He expects them to read it. However, for various reasons, many new Christians find this duty a daunting task. It is a mountain they fear they cannot climb. The Bible seems so big. They do not understand how it is organized. The vocabulary and grammar are challenging. Many Christians just give up and never read the Bible — or at least never read it through.
“God’s Promise” service will help to quickly expose new Christians to the power of Scripture and to know the God who encourages, convicts and corrects with his Word.
Non-Christians
Many non-Christians around the globe have a desire to learn more about the Bible by reading it for themselves. However, they do not have “free” access to Word of God because of Social, religious and political reasons (as in many middle east countries). A gift of “God’s Promise” service will be blessing to them.
Thanks for prayerfully considering subscribing to “God’s Promise for Today” for your family or teenager or giving this as a gift to your non-believer & new believer friends.
